Utsira lighthouse marked 175 years of lighting the old lighthouse camera from 1890.
The traditional sweeping light should be lit for a trial period of two years. In this way, Utsira lighthouse is part of a tourism project that will be carried out under the auspices of Rogaland County Municipality and Utsira Municipality.
The light has a range of 23 nautical miles and is visible to ships sailing 4.2 miles out to sea.
